Well it's been so long since I've posted! RL has kept me busy and recent events in my second life have kept me away as well.

I recently parted ways with my partner... who I still love and will always love. I've had people tell me that love in SL is a myth. I don't agree at all. No matter how hard you try... real feelings and emotions are involved. You create relationships... you love... you laugh... you fight... you cry. Actually, I think the emotional aspect is much more intense than in RL. There are no distractions such as societies obsession with physical "beauty". I see people "falling in love" so quickly. Often only to part a short time later, which I suppose lends credence to those cynics who say love is a myth in SL. Quite frankly, I feel sorry for those who don't believe, but that is theirs...

I, on the other hand, am so very thankful for the relationships I've had through SL. I have met some amazing human beings... created friendships I hope will last a lifetime. I've even fallen in love... even if we are now apart, our time together is precious to me. You are always in my heart!
